My situation is a little bit unique...

I am self-employed (since 1994) and have lived all over the world (Paris, Australia, New Zealand, Toronto, and all over the US) working for companies like Disney, Nike, Pier1, etc. Looking for an 'unencumbered' lady to enjoy the adventure with me.

The proposition works kind of like this - as each project comes to an end, we, together, look at all our options which could include taking long time periods off (traveling for fun?), or considering all offers for projects either locally, out of state of internationally. You can travel with me, stay home (on short term projects), or do whatever you want. I'm happy to support my partner in whatever she wants to do with her time... Work? Volunteer? Pursue your dream? Work is optional, and all I ask is that we are together as much as possible, you support my travel and in return, I'll support you in any way I can, including financially.

I'd like you to be fit (let's face it, the physical attraction is what sparks the flame), available to travel/relocate for 6-18 months at a time, and interested in an inter-dependent, 'connected' deep relationship where you partner makes you the first priority in their life, and you in theirs.

A few thoughts:
1. Mutual giving means that everybody gives everybody wins (as described in the Bible - Eph 5:25 and 5:22). That means being humble and putting your partner first.

2. A note on being 'independent'. Kids are dependent on their parents and yearn for independence. Mature adults should already have their independence and yearn for inter-dependence with their partner.

3. Being "busy" has become a status symbol in the US. It is not true in other countries, and being able to find a way to live a balanced life is critical.

San Diego/LA native - I've lived all over the world working on projects for my clients and can travel or stay put - I have reached a stage in my career where I have a lot of options.
